Re-Gaining Custody Guidelines for Britney Spears by Barbara Rose, Ph.D.

I prayed from my heart for Britney Spears to be able to re-gain and keep shared custody of her boys with their Dad because I know how devastating it feels to have supervised visitation, to lose custody, and what is needed to keep shared custody of the children.

The following guidelines are the bottom line on what to do during the custody litigation process, as well as what would make for the best and most positive atmosphere for the children.

The Mindset about the Other Parent

You must view the other parent as equally the parent of your children as you are.
Cease all negative talk and all verbal assaults about the other parent, especially in front of the children.

Make it safe for your children to feel love for the other parent.

Stop the battle to win – and start to view the whole situation in terms of a child who truly needs you and the other parent.

Your motives must be pure – strictly for the benefit of your children.

After all is said and done, sharing for the physical care of your children is a fifty-fifty job to be equally shared by both parents. (So long as neither parent is causing harm to the child.)The whole premise of “custody” is barbaric. You, the parent, have a lifelong bond with your child and from this moment forward you child’s feelings must come first, before anything else.

The fight for control must be transformed into an equal sharing of custidy, including respect shown to the other parent at all times in front of the children.

Remember, custody litigation is all about what is in the best interest of the child.

What the Court Looks for the Following to Determine Custody Placement

A safe, loving and stable home environment.
A parent, who is responsible, follows the laws of society, is even tempered and level headed.
A parent who provides solid assurance of having the ability to raise the children under the best of circumstances.
A parent who can be home with his or her children. Acting jobs, music tours, anything that take you away from home and away from your children on a nightly basis need to be substituted for work that will keep you available as a devoted mother.

What You Must Do Regarding the Court

Your appearance needs to be squeaky clean. Think Mary Poppins, or a Librarian.

Remove all jewelry, nose rings, tongue piercing, dramatic make-up, and re-do your appearance to be wholesome. Think Meg Ryan in the movie, “You’ve Got Mail” – her appearance was low key, the “nice, clean cut girl.”

Ideally you want to wear no make up except for sheer lip gloss. Hair pulled back in a pony tail, just a simple watch if you need to wear one, no nail polish or clear nail polish, a knee-length solid skirt in brown, navy or black with a button down white collar shirt, low shoes such as loafers. You need to look extremely wholesome when you go to court, AND because of media photojournalists, you need to look and dress this way.

Take off all garments that are symbolic of a group or rebellious movement. This means that the Harley T-shirt needs to be put away in your draw, and substituted for a white button down collar shirt.

Looking like a sex pot with mini skirts, polka dot dresses, high heels, or muscle shirts for the guys needs to be replaced with a fully clean cut appearance. A simple pair of navy or black slacks or below-the-knee skirt with a collar shirt buttoned either all the way, or up to the second button for the females. If there’s a tattoo on your neck, button the shirt all the way.

CRUCIAL INFO REGARDING YOUR CASE AND THE JUDGE

Find out the name of the Judge who presides over your case. A simple call to the courthouse will get you that info; just make sure you have your case number.

If you can hire an attorney, make sure he or she never lost a case in front of the Judge, and the attorney is well liked by the Judge.

What they don’t teach you in Law school, or any school for that matter, is that Judges are people just like you and me, and they have favorite friends – one of them is an attorney! They belong to the same golf and country club, or share time on a volunteer committee. I have witnessed this first hand, and it is crucial to your case. Your attorney must be on outstanding, friendly terms with the judge – THAT is “how” this particular lawyer never lost a case in front of this judge.

Your demeanor in court must be completely respectful of the Judge, as well as towards all in the room. The Judge is to be addressed as “Yes, Your Honor.” Or “Your Honor, may I please share something with you?” This is how to speak to a Judge.

NEVER argue with the Judge.

Speak to the Judge ONLY when you are asked to speak. NEVER interrupt the Judge.

If you have a lawyer, let your lawyer do the talking for you until you are asked a question directly, then answer it honestly and CALMLY.

No matter what you are feeling, keep your emotions even keeled.

Do not cry, or become angry or defiant in court. When I was given visitation rights in 1996 tears burst out of my eyes as if a dam burst open. The judge’s looked at me and said in a forceful tone, “And don’t you cry!” Any emotions displayed that are not calm and collected cause you to appear either emotionally fragile, emotionally unstable, volatile, dangerous, or incapable of handling an adult circumstance as a mature, even tempered adult.

When you’re in court remember to remain calm, dignified, respectful, level headed, even tempered and agreeable. This is crucial.

If there is a court appointed guardian ad litem – either as a paid attorney or a free volunteer, that guardian essentially becomes “Judge and jury” and “the eyes of the Judge” regarding your case. You must treat the guardian with the utmost respect throughout the entire custody process.
You can thank the guardian for being so helpful, for taking the time to visit your home, and for looking out for what is in the best interest of the children.

Ninety nine percent of the time the Judge will “rubber stamp” the recommendations of the guardian. This is why the guardian is the one who really makes the decisions.

Follow all court orders, with a respectful demeanor to ensure the best possible outcome regarding your situation.

Your demeanor needs to be extremely humble and polite. Show the Judge that you are willing to obey all requests of the Court.

If the Court orders a psychological evaluation, only use the COURT’S psychologist.

Never go to a different private psychologist. The Court views this as “pre-testing” and will make you wait six months until you are evaluated by the Court psychologist.

If anyone from the Court comes to visit your home, it must be extremely clean, with age appropriate toys for the children.

Your child must be clean, dressed comfortably, have a happy smile, and treated as if the sun rises and sets over your child’s head.

Never speak in a harsh tone to your child.

Keep the adult issues of custody litigation strictly between the adults. Your child needs to be concerned with Mickey Mouse, coloring pictures and having special time with you.

Crucial Parenting Guidelines During and After Litigation

When your children are with you, your attention must be one hundred percent on your children.

A parent can physically be home, and also be emotionally unavailable – with his or her attention wrapped up in everything other than the child. When your child is sleeping, or in nursery school, or elementary school that is when your attention can be on other things.

Children need to see a happy, calm parent. Their environment needs to be PREDICTABLE in order for them to feel secure.

If you are sad and your child asks you, “What’s wrong?” always share honestly saying something such as, “I just feel sad when I can’t be with you all the time, but I’m okay and I’m so happy to be with you now.” The reason for this is that your child has accurate perceptions, such as seeing you sad. You must validate the truth of what your child is picking up on, and then reassure your child that everything is okay, you love him, and you will always be so proud of him.

You are NOT allowed to ever hit your child. This is called child abuse.

If you feel frustrated, say, “I feel frustrated.” Often just saying how you feel helps you diminish the negative hold your feelings have on you.

If you want your child to do something, the incorrect thing to say is, “you’re not going to play at your friend’s house until you put your toys away.” The CORRECT way to phrase a request is, “As soon as you put your toys away, then you can go to your friend’s house.

I can only share with you that the parents, including me, who raised their children using this simple method have role model teenagers today. The parents who did NOT use this method, continued the drama, dysfunction, unavailability, and abusive tone have teenagers who are in trouble today. You must be home when your child comes home, and you must be home with your child every night of the week.
It’s fine to go out for an hour or two, just make sure that you are tucking your child into bed at the same bed time every night, and that you are home throughout the night no matter who you are dating.
This causes your child to feel secure, in a safe, predictable environment, which is EXACTLY what the Judge is looking for when deciding on custody placement.

Things to Remember

Throughout the entire litigation process you want to make sure that your work is in a respectable field, according to what the Judge would view as respectable. If you are working in a bar, dancing on stage in a skimpy outfit, staying out until all hours of the night, this needs to be reversed, now.

Keep AWAY from dysfunctional, toxic people who thrive on drama, and/or are always complaining. A great rule of thumb is to take advice from someone whose shoes you would like to see yourself in.

Remember that ultimately the Judge is just trying to see which parent will provide the most secure, stable, thriving environment for the child. It CAN be both parents! You AND the other parent can share custody 50/50.

If the Judge grants primary custody to one parent, and visitation rights for the other, please remember you did NOT ‘lose’ your child. You are merely sharing for the physical care of him or her with the other parent.

Place all of your attention and focus ON your child. Be PRESENT when you are with your child, meaning, your child must have your FULL attention. The other things can wait.

You have people rooting for you. I am one of them. As my dearest Grandma Rose always used to say, “This too shall pass.” It passes much faster than I ever thought possible. My children are eighteen and nineteen years old now. There is no more ‘custody’, and we share a beautiful relationship.

Just to share an example, I learned to make the best of my visitation rights, instead of continuing to fall apart. As an extra bonus I was class mom, went on school field trips, shared alternate holiday's with them, and ALWAYS lived very close to them. This gave me "extra" time with my children, and showed them that everything is okay.

This period is filled with great meaning, and will positively help you grow and floursih as a Mom.

You WILL get through this period. Remember this is a transatory, temporary experience just as all experiences are.

When thinking about “winning” custody – think “SHARING” instead. That will alleviate a great deal of agony, and your children will see the smiling, stable, loving parent that you truly are.

How Can People Easily Receive Answers from God?

"Tell them to share and to ask like a child would ask for another candy, never dreaming that a person would say "no" to a child. YOU, each person IS that child.

Humanity has been taught to "follow" rather than to listen within. To listen to your gut instincts – no, so many people do not even do that, and then wonder "why" something would happen, when they were INTERNALLY guided in the opposite direction. Sometimes people are distracted by what the ego has to say. Too many people believe their DOUBTS more than the truth in their OWN HEART!

So THIS is "why" it takes some people longer than others. It’s like someone not believing in their own inborn abilities. Perhaps you, yes you reading this message, have true talent, and someone taught you that your talent was NO talent at all. So at that point you immediately took on that other person’s belief, instead of THE REAL TRUTH!

So now, EVERY member of the human race has this already built inside – this internal connection to God, your Higher Self via the energy of your soul. There is never a moment you are NOT connected, you are ALWAYS connected, it simply takes your belief that you are, along with what you are asking about with respect to your receiving answers.

Are you asking about how to turn around any and all false negative views of SELF? Or are you asking about what you "should" do? It's okay to ask both, however, what matter at hand REALLY means the universe to you deep in your heart?

When Barbara Rose asked, "Dear God, Why did you let me lose my children?" That question meant her whole heart to her, it was the purest question, with a sincere desire to know the PURE TRUTH. So in reply, she RECEIVED the PURE TRUTH – she never "lost" her children! Oh, but she did not realize that before the writing, only after.

WHAT ARE YOU ASKING ABOUT? On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 – one – being the lowest) how much would you give in your life for an answer to your question? How much does that question mean to you, to your life, your happiness, your FINALLY knowing TRUTH?

You see, when you are starting this process, and you feel blocked, more of your focus, either consciously or unconsciously is focusing on how you "cannot" or "will not" receive an answer. Perhaps you already KNOW the answer, and that would mean you may need to change some aspects of your life in order to live your truth.

Perhaps you already KNOW the truth, and feel afraid to honor it. When life brings you down to your knees, and ALL you desire is an answer to your MOST HEARTFELT questions – to help you GROW, and UNDERSTAND, and gain CLARITY, on the INSIDE, so you can then move forward, you will receive answers.

The ONLY "block" is in the mental thinking process. Again, either consciously or unconsciously. If you were taught that 'God' judges you, then you were taught lies, and may feel just as Barbara used to – "why would God want to answer ME?"

But when there was nothing left in her life except a desire to know TRUTH, the answers poured in, poured into her mind, that she wrote down on paper with a pen.

Now, this does NOT at ALL mean that you have to lose everything, you can feel INSPIRED to create something, so deeply inspired to TRULY make a difference, either for yourself or others, and your WHOLE HEART is asking for help with this. Your heart motive is so pure that your HEAD CANNOT even get in the way! Then, you will receive answers.

If you are conditioned by society to think you 'cannot' then it WILL take much more effort on your part for your HEART to OVERRIDE YOUR HEAD! That is the key. Your heart and what you are asking about has to mean SO much to you, that your HEAD doesn’t even stand a chance to get in the way.

So again, on a scale of 1 to 10, how much does what you are asking about mean your entire life to you? How much does this question matter to you? What about what is beneath the question? What is your motive for asking the question to begin with?

Let's start with just to know the pure truth. How about starting out with asking if what you believe about yourself that causes you to feel bad inside is the real truth? How much of a DESIRE do you have to truly want to turn around what you may have been taught, to finally knowing the real truth about YOU?

This cannot be an intellectual process. If you are struggling to receive answers, the ego contained within the intellect is actually what is blocking you from receiving truth! So this is "why" in the beginning, your whole heart must be contained within the question, and it would be IDEAL if the question is all about gaining UNDERSTANDING AND CLARITY, rather than for outer direction. Once you know you are receiving truth, you can ask about anything. The purpose of this writing is to help you consciously receive your FIRST answer in writing.

It would help you tremendously to listen to your gut instincts, MORE than the ego/intellect. THAT is God guiding you.

It would help you if you TRULY listen to your OWN FEELINGS, and if you are DETERMINED to ONLY follow what you PREFER in your HEART – rather than the fears in the ego/intellect – you will more easily receive answers.

This is ALL an "Inside" job. EVERY answer, you will hear within.

You may have synchronicities on the outside that validate what is on the inside, or your external reality may be exactly the opposite of what your heart truly longs to experience.

If the latter is the case, it does require you to move in the direction your HEART is guiding you, rather than the fears in your head – because the fears of the ego have kept far too many people from their own good for far too long.

So how determined are you to live out your truth – on every level, in every nook and cranny of your life? On a scale of 1 to 10 – how determined are you to live out and follow THROUGH with what you either know deep inside is for your highest good, or if you were to receive the answer – what is the level of determination you have in following through with it – for your highest good? THAT will show you your level of openness to receiving answers.

Start with what means your whole heart to you, and what you would give anything in the universe to understand or grow – because THAT is "why" you came into this life to begin with – and this does apply to all of humanity. You wouldn’t be here, on earth, if you did not sign up for the growth lessons in front of you.

Once you are SO DETERMINED to grow, that NOTHING IN THE UNIVERSE can stop you – be certain you will receive answers to the questions that mean the most to you in your heart. If your question at hand does not TRULY matter to you in your deepest heart, then go deeper to discover the question that DOES. THAT is HOW you will receive the answers to the matters weighing on your HEART, and NOTHING AND NOBODY can EVER give you this connection or take it away from you – it is the energy of your soul and the LOVE you feel INSIDE of your HEART. That is "where God Lives."

Good morning. On behalf of my Grandma Rose, I would like to thank you all for being here today.

There is only one thing I can speak about in memory of my Grandma Rose, and that is the difference she has made.

Because of her, we were blessed to experience the very best of life. She taught us the meaning of love. She endlessly and loyally gave us the very best of her heart.

Grandma, you were my best friend, the closest person to me all of my life.

You never once let me down. You never let any of us down.

You gave us roots and wings.

Taught us the meaning of family, and gave us a true heritage. You instilled within us the highest ethics, and values of dignity, integrity, humanity, charity, courage and love.

You believed in us, and during the times we may not have known which way to go, you showed us.

Without judgment you backed us at every turn, and with every step, your love sustained us.

Your chicken soup sustained us. Those beautiful blue eyes, and sweet smile comforted us, no matter how difficult life became. You were always there.

Each one of us here today is only better because of you Grandma. You made so many of my dreams come true. I am grateful to you for eternity.

Grandma Rose, you are also eternal.

We are each a part of you. You saw the best within us, and it is that best, that we will carry on, and teach our children.

I know you are happy, free, with God, and watching over us.

Hello,

I hope you’re enjoying this New Year. I have some positive changes regarding the books I am releasing in 2007. I’ve felt a deep inner calling or shift, whatever name you want to give it, regarding consciousness and uplifting humanity.

I tossed the book about ageing youthfully, I just didn’t feel the passion for it, and there are plenty of books already on the market by experts in that field. The book that replaced that one is called Realigning Religion: Consciousness and the Survival of the Human Species. This is a book that I hope will truly make the difference it is intended to make. I’m very excited about it!

Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid: My Review of the book

I have long been a great supporter of Jimmy Carter, whom I view as a decent man of peace. However, from the contents of this book, my own long academic study in Middle Eastern affairs, as well as my month long stay in Israel in July, 2000 personally interviewing ALL sides, the Israeli Jewish people, The Christian people, and The Palestinian people, what they ALL have in common is that they all want peace among each other.

This fact is not addressed in this book at all.

The leaders on all sides who are either putting up fences for protection, waging war against each other in a tiny country to hold or claim more land, and to attack each other strictly due to religious ideology are facts that the people who are living there feel powerless over, as well as ALL sides living in fear from attack and death without a moment’s notice.

The Palestinian people deserve to have a piece of land, a place they can call “home.”

In the center of Jerusalem, (about the size of a postage stamp) witnessing all sides having their markets to sell their wares and goods, the vast majority of the PEOPLE all got along. They just stayed in their own sections and did not bother each other.

The title of this book is misleading. What Carter fails to point out is that ALL of the “Leaders” of their people from all sides need to come to an agreement to live among each other. Yes, Israel would need to give up part of the Gaza, a fact they fear due to water supply, and a few other countries outside the borders of Israel putting that in grave danger. This is NOT addressed at all.

In a nutshell, the book sends a positive and clear message that Palestinian people must have their own rightful place. However, there are other governments outside of Israel who play a larger role with an ever consistent threat of wiping out the Jewish AND Christian population;
Namely, Hezbollah, who was performing genocide against Christians in Southern Lebanon, many of whom I personally interviewed.

The Christians who fled INTO Israel for protection against genocide with nothing more than the clothes on their backs, were PROTECTED by the Israeli government, given safe harbor, a place to live and food to eat.

This book does NOT address this fact at all.

Bottom line: the leaders of ALL sides have to come to terms with the fact that human beings are entitled to worship as they choose – it’s called live and let live – in a democratic land. When the blame games stop, and win/win solutions are sought by all sides for all people concerned, then, there will be peace for all in that region.

She Listens to Led Zeppelin and She Lives Like a Nun

Who ever thought back in the 1970's that a regular girl from Queens New York who listened to Led Zeppelin would grow up to be driven on a mission to teach all of humanity how to receive answers directly from God?

Who ever thought that it was even possible to receive direct answers? I sure didn’t!

I was the “rebellious teen” staying out late at night with rock and roll friends, listening to music until the wee hours of the morning, while my dear Mom would be practically hanging out the window, wondering when I would come home. It was usually around 4 am, until I learned better.

Growing up (it took over 40 years) I would get passionate about an area of life, but that “passion” was always to “find myself” or to “be somebody” because I never felt like much of anybody, until I learned how we are all somebody. I learned it all from God in writing.

When I was told back in 1994 that I would be bringing through information from God in writing and in speech to uplift the spiritual consciousness of humanity, I looked at that man as if he was from Pluto.

“What? Are you kidding me?” I laughed out loud, “why would God want to talk to me? I’m not Mother Teresa or the Dalai Lama, why would God want to speak to me?” I was told that I wasn’t going to be like some madam Zelda with a scarf on her head and a crystal ball, but I would find that I would be bringing through information from God to uplift the spiritual consciousness of humanity.

That one went right over my head. I truly did not understand what that meant, and I definitely did not believe that I had any ability to receive answers from God.

As life happened, and as hardships happened, I found that I was in the deepest despair. I felt hopeless, helpless, completely alone and suicidal. My darkest moments were after an unwarranted child custody litigation suit, which I lost before it even started, as I did not have the funds to hire an attorney to represent me throughout the litigation process.

Back then, I viewed my situation from the perspective as if “I lost my children.” Because I never once hit my children, and I never once called them a negative name, I could not understand how this injustice could happen to me.

I used to look up to the sky and ask God, “Why? Why did you let this happen to me? You know I never did anything wrong? Why did you let me lose my children? I want an answer!”

I wrote letters to God, and I asked for answers. What shocked me the most was that I received them.

As I was on the brink of suicide from the pain of the injustice, my heart wanted an answer more than anything. When I wrote the above question to God, the answer I received was, “You did not “lose” your children. You are merely sharing for the physical care of them with their father. You are their mother, you will always be their mother, and they will always be close to you. Please shift your view from “loss” to “sharing.”

In that moment, when I re-read what I had written, the words of God as they flowed into my mind, my entire reality was completely transformed. I came back to life!

I realized God is right! I did not lose my children. I did have visitation rights, and I live very close to them. I really was merely sharing for the care of them with their father! I then began to do writings to God several times each day to completely rebuild and transform my entire life.

As a byproduct of the guidance I received, I began sharing this with other people. I just shared from my heart how to do “a writing” and receive answers from God.

That sharing started to transform other people’s lives, too. I was guided step by step, entirely in the moment, what to create, what book to write, what to share, and then I discovered the greatest gift of all – my love of seeing the difference this makes for everyone who receives answers in writing directly from God, as each person understands Him to be.

I learned from the answers God gave me in my writings how to have pure self love. Unconditional love. I learned that it is how we view a situation that causes either our misery or our understanding. I learned that we are never alone. We have Divine help with us 24/7.

There was a guy I met a long time ago that I was really interested in. Actually, that is an understatement, I completely fell in love. I did a writing and wanted to understand why my feelings were so strong. I felt like I knew him forever. I received a lot of personal information about him that would be relevant to our relationship. When I read him my first three writings about him and us, he looked at me and said, “It’s like you stuck a needle in my brain and extracted fluid. I don’t know how you could know all of this.” He was brave enough to admit that it was all the truth.

On another occasion, after I read him a writing from God, he actually asked me if I was an alien. “No, I’m not an alien.” I said, “I’m a regular person just like you, and I still listen to Led Zeppelin.”

That was in the year 2000. Now, we have a compassionate, long distance friendship, and I still do writings whenever I’m not sure about what to do in my life. I ask for the next best steps to take, the best words to say in reply to an important email, I ask God for information to help me and guide me whenever I truly am not sure about what to do, or how to handle any situation in my life, both for my highest good, and the highest good of all.

I do, literally, live like a Nun. The only difference is that I still listen to Led Zeppelin, and I have never felt more inner peace as I do now, on a true from-the-heart-mission to teach all of humanity how everyone can also receive answers, because I am no different than you.

The whole key is to write down the questions coming from your deepest heart. Whatever you ask about has to truly matter to you, and your motive has to be pure.

I’ve had the title of this article popping into my mind so many times, that I decided it was time to finally write it. The truth is that you do not have to be a central religious figure to receive answers from God. All you need is a pure and open heart. You don’t have to live in a monastery either. You can listen to your favorite music, play on the beach collecting sea shells, and you can be a regular human being. There is zero special ability to receiving answers from God in writing. Any pen and paper will do.

I also learned from God that there truly is no “death” there is only a change in form when people cross over. We are fully alive on the other side as we are right now. Sometimes even more so. Our souls never die, and love never dies. It is because love is the strongest and most powerful energy in the universe that as long as our heartfelt desire for answers from God comes from our heart, we will always receive them. The other important part is that we have to truly desire the answers, as well as have the desire to follow through in our actions when we receive them.

Is it easy? No, it is not easy to uproot our deepest growth issues and completely transform ourselves and our lives. Personal transformation takes great conscious effort, and we have to push through a lot of fears in the process. At least I had to.

But in the end, there is nothing more rewarding than to know with absolute certainty, (after I got over the fears from believing that I was insane) that you, just like me, really can receive direct answers. And those answers turn out to be such pure truth that you will be amazed after looking back on your writings over a period of time.

In the meantime, my commitment comes from my heart to share this with all of humanity in a way that continues to live on, long after I am gone.

There is one set of instructions I gave to my daughter for when I pass over, I requested that she play “Stairway to Heaven” by Led Zeppelin because I’ll still be rocking ‘n rolling while alive on the other side.

As far as living like a Nun, I actually love working for God and living this mission from my heart so much that I really don’t have the desire to do much more than the spiritual work because it’s so rewarding and so pure. I am human, however, and I do still love rock and roll.

The Answers

How can I say goodbye when I don’t want to?

When a circumstance happens that your personality might not like, it is imperative that you stop fighting what the universe is showing you, and start to look for the blessing in disguise, as well as the higher reason behind it.

When you truly learn to go with the flow, in the moment, you will gain a great deal of trust. What you will ultimately trust is that it is happening for your highest good and for the highest good of the other person. You might not see the higher reason at the current time, but you definitely will in hindsight.

You do not own another person. He or she can do whatever he or she wants to do. How could you not say goodbye if that is being asked of you? This is the root of desirous attachment. Your desires might be too attached to the other person in a way that is not healthy. The only way to release this, as with anything else, is with tremendous love and compassion for you and for the other person.

Look at what good can possibly come out of the situation. Look for what might very well be for each of your highest good. Replace “want” with “prefer”. You “prefer” to trust that there are higher reasons behind this situation and what you “want” might not be possible at this time. It might be possible in the future, or never. Release that grip with a flow of unconditional love. This will serve each of you far better than holding on for dear life. As a matter of fact, a “dear life” is what you ultimately “want” both for you and the other person. Allow it to be what it is. As soon as you begin to “allow” then you will begin to feel inner peace, and the pain will vanish.

2. What do if I love someone, and we are no longer together but he/she is moving away?

The greatest thing you can do is go into your deepest heart, that place where pure unconditional love resides, and wish that person the greatest life that any human being can possibly have. If you are able, you can let the person know that you love him/her, and that he or she can always call you if they ever want to. Then, with pure, transparent love, view the other person the way you would view a butterfly, and allow him or her to fly away freely, while you simultaneously send him or her your love and purest good wishes.

Sometimes people need to move away to have a fresh start. Sometimes they need to separate from the past so they can grow, heal, transform and bloom into their highest expression of self in this lifetime. Sometimes they need to re-create an entire new life. If you truly and genuinely love this person, you have to realize that it requires a great amount of self love to be able to allow another to go away so that you do not feel tortured inside, but that you feel love and inner peace.

Begin to view your love as the gift that it is, and view yourself with tremendous pure love, without condition. This means that there is no condition that validates how lovable or worthy you are. And, this includes whether or not a person is in your life.

It is vital that you realize that you are not saying goodbye to the love you feel, you are merely saying goodbye to the old circumstances. If you have not been together, chances are great that each of you needed to grow and perhaps could not do this while remaining physically together.

View this new circumstance as a positive experience for greater self love, for each of you! See the good in it. It is there, and if you look for it, you will find it! Under all circumstances, find the love in the situation, and how this is serving as a positive catalyst in each of your lives. This will bring you into a great deal of trust, and the pain will be replaced by unconditionally loving acceptance. This in turn leads to a great deal of inner peace.

3. Can you please explain why some people keep returning to each other after repeated break-ups?

There is only one thing nothing in this universe can never be destroyed and this is pure love. When two people deeply love each other and have repeated break-ups this is a clear indication that each person has growing to do, or they, just like everyone else on earth, would not be in this life to begin with.

When two people are together and they trigger each of their deepest growth issues, deep rooted feelings will naturally come to the surface. Then the ego takes its typical “fight or flight” position. Some people break up when what they are feeling is triggering so much inside, that they just want to get away. In this case, the ego has won its temporary battle. However, as time passes, and each person has solitude to so some deep soul searching, they discover that they did, in fact, have some growing to do on the personal level. They even realize that the other person was a wonderful catalyst for this growth. The love comes back to the surface, and they somehow get back in touch with each other because the love truly never died!

Some people call this a “love/hate, can’t live with him/her, can live without him/her” relationship. Personally, I do not agree with this view, as it is giving a surface excuse that labels something far deeper and wiser. I would call it profound love, growth and realization that has phases of togetherness and separation when needed for the growth of each person.

Relationships that are this deep have clearly come into our lives for higher reasons, and they are all related to growth. First for self, possibly to learn how to be authentic in a relationship, and ultimately it serves a positive purpose for many others.

If you find that you have been apart many times, and have returned to each other many times, I would venture to say that you have each grown tremendously as a result. Would you agree with this view? This is “why”. It is all for growth. The other reason “why” is because pure love never dies, ever. So when you are together love and treasure every moment. When you are apart, love yourself while you bring your greatest contributions into this world. Under all circumstances give yourself and the other person pure, transparent love, while you trust that everything really is in divine order, and working out for each of your highest good.

4. How do I stop thinking about the past and hoping for the future?

Your mind is going to have thoughts and memories about the past. You might hear a song that brings back certain memories. You might come across something or some place that reminds you of the person you love. There are two key components to this.

The first one is allowing the thoughts to come to the surface instead of trying to get rid of them and block them out. They might trigger a lot of feelings and it is important that you acknowledge their existence. You can realize and learn a lot from what is coming into your mind from the past. You can grow and learn from these past memories. You can see how much you have already grown, and you can cherish the times you had in the past for all of the good it did bring into your life, even if some of those times were difficult. In this case, allow, acknowledge and come into your truth about what your thoughts and feelings are trying to get you to see, feel and recognize. You can have wonderful realizations if you take this approach and it is entirely empowering!

The second disempowering aspect of thinking about the past is dwelling in it and wishing it were the same. This takes you out of the now moment, when your creativity, and creatively thinking by looking for a higher reason as to why you are feeling this way will serve you so much better.

You cannot re-do the past. It is behind you. You can only go forward from this point one moment at a time. So if a past memory comes up, allow it to! What is it trying to tell you? How do you really feel about it? Come into your truth. Then, go with what you are getting. If the person you love contacts you, be REAL! If the person you love never contacts you again, trust and accept what is, and with a great amount of loving compassion for yourself, focus on what you can experience or create in this now moment.

The only time it will serve you to think about the past is when you truly want to learn and grow from your past experiences. Trying to bring back the past is like trying to bring back a breeze that passed by. But, you can always have a new breeze come your way. It could be the same person, or a new person. It could be many experiences you came into this life to express. The greatest thing you can do with your memories of the past is give them a lot of love, because they did serve you well, especially if they were difficult. If you are dwelling in a negative manner, then this is hindering your growth. Ask yourself what you have learned, and what means the most to you. Above all, trust that you would not be where you are today if those experiences were not in your life, and you are not meant to keep re-living the events of your past. You are here to create new, positive and life enriching ones. Can they be with the same person? That is up to each person’s free will and choice. You can trust one thing, however, and that is that if it is meant to be for your highest good, it will be, no matter which way it turns out.

In a nutshell, view the past with love and appreciation. Then you can take all of the growth you have made and create, live, be and express so much more.

Hoping for the future is a complete waste of time. Why? Because it is detracting from this now moment when all creation exists! Pull yourself into NOW, and you will feel guided from within. Life will begin to flow smoothly, effortlessly, and everything will fall into place for your highest good. If you could only realize how profound this now moment is, when events happen that you would call a miracle, you will cease to live projecting into the future, and you will create everything from your heart NOW. There is nothing more pure and positive, and it all comes from your heart. TRUST that everything is unfolding according to your highest good. As you begin to get centered in this now moment, go with what your inner guidance and gut feelings are telling you! ALWAYS follow your inner guidance. THAT is what will create your “future” and it will result in the greatest life you could possibly have.

5. What do I do with all of the love I still feel for that person?

Allow it to be there. If you try to fight the love, try to get rid of it, and try to avoid it, I can pretty much guarantee that it is like trying to fight, get rid of and avoid the fact that sunlight exists.

If you feel love, then honor and acknowledge those feelings! They are letting you know your truth. Just by doing that alone will simultaneously bring you into your truth, and will stop the internal battle of your ego and your heart. What is so terrible about feeling love? Only what you believe can harm you, and those beliefs must be uprooted so you can at least feel your truth. Then, look at what is happening now. If you can, or wish to get in touch with the person you love, do so! If you know or have been asked to leave that person alone, then honor and respect what he or she asked of you. This must be done with purity of motive, with love and respect for yourself and for the other person.

If you are not able to be in contact with that person, simply feel your feelings, and create the best that you can out of them! The key here is to realize that it is okay to feel love for someone, however, it must be a “transparent” love with purity and zero “tactics” run by ego to push anything based on an agenda, an ego agenda. This “agenda’ includes denial of your feelings. That is EGO in its prime.

Alternatively, you can write a book, a song or create something positive for others. Most importantly, you can love yourself for having the capacity to love! This is a GIFT in life, and it is one of the greatest gifts you can ever feel and express in any positive manner.

When you think of that special person, in your mind, wish him or her pure love, freely. When you are giving that from your heart, the other person will feel it. As long as it is pure, meaning that you truly wish the best for that person, you will then be able to bring out the best you have within you. This can also help many other people who are feeling the same way. How do I know this? You might wonder, so I will give you the answer. I recently experienced all of this, and the pure love remains beneath it all. I now trust that there really IS a higher reason for everything that happens.

I now know that there is perfect orchestration in this universe and everything is unfolding for the highest good of all, every step of the way. As I trust I learned to stop fighting it all, because there are precious gifts within every circumstance – I had to first learn to look for them, instead of what my ego used to either be attached to or avoid. I know that pure love never dies, and I had to stop trying to get rid of it. I had to ALLOW it and create the best that I can from it. At the same time, from the most pure place within, I do wish that very special person the greatest life any human being can ever have. I also wish this for you!

Helping Orphans in Rwanda

In reading about Immaculee Ilibagiza's survival of genocide in Rwanda, there are many orphans whose parents were systematically elimated in heartless ethnic cleansing - genocide.

These children need our help. I feel a deep calling to go there and bring whatever help I can to the orphaned children. Who would liketo join me in this?

What about all of the other orphans in our world? How can we help them? Maybe by a drive coordinated with agencies who are currently helping the children, we can also bring them help.

Whoever has an idea, please post it here. Perhaps your idea cantransform an orphan into a global citizen who can bring so much goodto our world, just because someone cared.

This is very dear to my heart, I hope you will join me to help in any way possible.

What I’m Up to in 2006

This is an exciting year for me. My fourth book Know Yourself: A Woman’s Guide to Wholeness, Radiance & Supreme Confidence is being released this month, and my fifth book, If God Hears Me, I Want an Answer! is being released on December 1st.

My main focus this year (and I am sure for the rest of my life) is first, being the best Mom to my incredible teenagers – yes I did say incredible – they are the light of my life, and I feel so deeply blessed to be their Mom. My life purpose focus is greatly centered on authentically empowering people to learn HOW to receive direct answers, truth, clarification, guidance and direction from God, their Higher Self, All That Is, Source – whatever name people give it, the source is the same.

I am seeing an incredible transformation take place among people all over the world that I am Blessed to teach this to, as it is helping them in the most profound ways, just as it always does with me.

I want people to know they CAN receive direct answers, so they ALWAYS have an inner anchor, pure guidance and clarification, so they are no longer frazzled by life’s circumstances, but are authentically empowered from them, and can transform any adversity into personal and collective triumph.

Completing my fifth book will bring this to the masses, and this is the “calling” I feel within the deepest part of my being.

I will be giving more public speaking keynotes, and tele-seminars to reach people personally. So this is a year of deep heart-centered purpose for me.

I feel so grateful that the IHSC Yahoo Group – Higher Self Communication is helping the members. It fills my heart with such joy to see this work really making a difference, and after all is said and done, this is what it is all about.

The Answers
How can I become awakened and enlightened?

They way to awakening is to merge your thoughts with the Divine higher perspective. It is the way of anchoring the light of God, creator, within your mind. As you direct your mind to the light, and as your heart felt intention to serve as a being of light merges with your desire to become a living expression of Christ consciousness, God consciousness, this heart felt desire will help you to focus your mind on the light. When your mind is focused on the blessing even amid circumstances that are unpleasant, and when your mind seeks to serve and become one with your Higher Self, you are both serving God, as well as being an expression of God in your life.

This requires steady focus on what is going through your mind, and consciously re-directing your thoughts to the light. It calls for you to ask God to help you by seeing the higher perspective so that you can radiate out the higher rather than the lower perspective.

You came in to this life to attain your highest, purest and most loving state of being and expression. Release all attachment to outcomes. Commit yourself fully to being the light of the Creator in every moment of your life. Keep the thoughts in your mind pure, and your emotional body, mental state, and personality will then merge with and become an expression of the purest consciousness in this universe. This consciousness can never escape you, because it is you. Once you begin to live in this way every time your mind is focused on anything other than light, you will awaken. You will allow the enlightenment that is your essence to flow from within you, and you will serve yourself, others, as well as share with those who ask how to shift their minds focus to the light, where all answers, awakening and enlightenment is. You are this expression, and it is time now for you to live in this awakened state for eternity.

What can I do when circumstances get the best of me?

Many times, in fact, all times, circumstances that you are unhappy about have come into your life precisely so that you can find the light within that circumstance. I call this “strengtheners” as opposed to “testers.” It is your conscious choice to weaken or strengthen. The gift of free will and choice humanity has endows each spiritual human being with the ability to focus on the light behind the darkness, and to transform any dark circumstance into one of light. This can only be done first with a decision within your mind. It is your heart felt commitment to discovering the higher reason, and moving in that direction that will enable you to become the best that you are as a result of the circumstances that have acted as catalysts for your coming into your highest and purest state of being and expression. This is your purpose. It is to be the light, under all circumstances, and to bring light to those circumstances. Then, you will be living and sharing the higher purpose. Personal and global transformation is the result of this, where light transforms darkness. And it is your mind, focus, dedication, and expression of this light that will serve to help uplift the lives of those who are undergoing circumstances similar to yours.

What is the best practice I can do in order to achieve an enlightened state?

First, breathe. Then ask God, your Higher Self, Holy Spirit, Source or whatever name you give to the source of the pure love, light and truth in the universe to help you see the light. When you ask for the higher perspective, and when you focus on light, and practice Higher Self communication on a daily basis, you will come to know that the practice is never a ritual. It is a pure state that comes from your heart to bring you into your highest awareness, awakening, and then inner peace will replace any internal discord you may feel. Dedicate yourself to serve as a beacon of light from your heart. Share with others the higher perspective you have realized. Remember that no one person can ever be the source of your enlightenment. You are source, and it is in connecting to this unlimited, boundless and eternal expression of light with every thought, motive and deed that you will achieve an enlightened state. What your mind focuses on is the key combined with the purest intentions within your heart. BE the light. Ask that light permeate every corner of your life, and consciousness. As your unwavering dedication to being this expression of Divine light and love continues, you will only feel light and love. You will then be enlightened and feel inner peace at all times, under all circumstances, because you will know that light is the source of all circumstances to help you to see the light that you are, which no outer circumstance can ever extinguish.

When I feel down and upset, how can I transform this into personal awakening?

With compassion. Have compassion for yourself and all others. Have compassion for the circumstances that are there to help you honor your highest truth. When you feel down, it is usually because there is an external condition that your personality is not happy about. Go beyond the personality level, and ask for the higher perspective. This will end the cycle of internal discord. This will begin the cycle of seeing every circumstance from the Highest perspective which will free you from drama. It will open your mind to the transformation that is about to be birthed from within you. Bless every person and circumstance as you view them to be catalysts for your personal and spiritual evolution. Once you have done this, you will no longer feel upset. You will feel free. This feeling of pure inner freedom that is never bound to a circumstance or situation is the result of personal awakening. View each time you feel down as an opportunity to move into the light of the higher perspective. It is from this vantage point that all internal upset will be transformed into internal peace.

What is the key to Christ Consciousness and pure enlightenment?

Your heart centered, pure motives as well as your unwavering dedication and commitment to become the physical embodiment of Christ consciousness every moment of your life. When your heart and mind are aligned in this manner, with steady focus on the light behind each circumstance, you will feel they key in your heart. The key is filled with the purest of love. To uplift yourself, and then to help others by example in any manner that is necessary. Show compassion instead of anger. Give understanding. Remove yourself from all negativity. Be the light you wish to see in this world, and know one thing: You are not only an expression of the light, you are the light giving expression. This is the key. Remember it always, and live it with every breath you take. This path is filled with radiant inner peace. It is the path that yields the most joy as it naturally spreads joy to all others, regardless of space or time. Consciousness transcends all space and time. When your consciousness is single focused, solely and completely on light and love – there will only be light and love, as well as the inner strength to carry it out every moment of your life. Others will remember your pure heart-centered example, and they too will awaken to and embody pure light, love, truth and the inner strength to carry it out until all of humanity lives in this way. And this, is the Christ Consciousness that is awakened within every human being. This is the time, and now, your decision to reach within your heart will engage your mind into its highest state, each moment, every moment, and thus, you will be the embodiment of pure enlightenment.

Helping People Receive Answers from God

It is because my life has been completely transformed directly as a result of receiving countless answers from God in my writings, on top of bringing through answers for countless people, and seeing their profound transformation, I decided to create a very spiritual holiday special.

There are many demands on my time, and I am working on many projects simultaneously. However, during the Holiday season, I think of all the people who don’t know who to turn to, don’t have answers, and don’t know how or where to receive the guidance they need to help them in their lives.

Once people learn HOW to do this, how to receive answers directly, which is the birthright of every human being on earth, then they can do it for the rest of their lives for free. This is like teaching someone how to fish, so he or she can fish for the rest of his or her life.

This work means so much to me. My heart is overjoyed when I learn from people that their lives have been profoundly transformed as a result of the work I do. This is the joy of working for and with God, and in a mainstream manner that is real and down to earth.

My wish is that by the time my lifetime is complete, that this will be as natural to people as any of their five senses. It amazes me, how humanity as a whole does not know how to do this! In my forthcoming book “If God Hears Me, I Want An Answer!” humanity will learn how to do this – that is the goal of the book. It is time that human beings awaken. It is time that the masses who are miserable know they can receive guidance and direction, as they become “allbeings” operating with all six senses, as opposed to having “sixsenseitis” under functioning using just five.

I really do love this work. It fills my entire being with bliss and joy. What better than to live a life making a difference from your heart? There is nothing better. I feel blessed. We are all blessed. And, if you are reading this, I wish you every blessing this Holiday season and in the New Year.

Higher Self Communication in Public Speaking, It is so Divine!

I felt it shares the essence of what I want to say, so I am sharing it here for you as well.

Hello All!

It is such a joy to see all of you reaching out, sharing from your hearts, and uplifting the hearts of others. As we are truly all connected, this is the most wonderful part of being in a human body, and that is expressing the Divine within.

I want to share with you that I have experienced some of the most heart and soul opening experiences in the last two weeks, speaking at conferences, and allowing the words to flow through me, while sharing, fully in the moment – this feels more exhilarating than I can describe. I feel so blessed to be able to do this work, and it is all a dream come true for me.

Some of you may know this, others may not – in Feb of 1998 I had 81 pills in my hand to take my life, viewing the injustice I went through as a ‘death’. It was from the information I brought through from God (the omniscient, Divine, pure love and truth energy that is a part of all of us equally, even if a person does not believe in or adhere to any organized religion, that is our Higher Self) that literally brought me the ‘higher’ perspective which has enabled me to completely transform my own life from the inside out.

God (our Higher Self) works in us, as us and though us all, equally. I am no more ‘gifted’ than the next person. It is the source of our gut instincts, the small voice within that guides us, and it is only a matter of PRACTICE to listen WITHIN.

Being “in the moment” is crucial in order to hear and follow the Divine guidance that will transform your own life, and then it becomes a rippling effect to help others recognize the same Divine essence inherent within all of humanity that we can share, each in our own unique way, the perspective that can help others on their path.

When I speak, I share, and I am guided moment by moment as to what to say according to the people in the room, and what will reach them on the personal level. I may give a keynote on the same topic, however, each one is different. I do not know the next word that is going to come out of my mouth any more than the audience does, and this is profoundly freeing! I don’t have to “have it all planned out” and worry about what to say. The words just flow into my mind, and they can just as easily flow into yours as well!

Many of you know this, and some of you may just be becoming aware of this. The key is to remember is that God, Your Higher Self, and the wisdom to guide you is even closer to you than the very breath you take. It is not “out there” it is all within.

So if you truly want to connect to your Higher Self, go within. Listen to that “still small voice” and practice following it, as this Divine voice within will never lead you astray, and will always lead you to your greatest good.

I will be extremely busy for the remainder of 2005 as everything is now being finalized for the January 1st publication date of my fourth book: “KNOW YOURSELF: A Woman’s Guide to Wholeness, Radiance & Supreme Confidence.”
I honestly feel that this book can help men as much as women. It was all written “through” me – just as all of my books are. That’s why I can write several in a short period of time. I’m really not writing it, but taking dictation, so it is super easy when you are taking dictation from God to write a book.

Any of you can do this just as easily, it is only a matter of practice.

Then, I will be completing my fifth book: “If God Hears Me, I Want An Answer!” which will be released on November 1, 2006. THIS is the book that will teach the masses about Higher Self Communication in plain English, and then in other languages when the book is translated.

My first two books: “Individual Power” and “If God Was Like Man: A Message from God to All of Humanity” will be back in print very soon. If God Was Like Man has been translated into Russian, and was released in hard cover.

One wonderful thing happened when I spoke at a shelter for Abused women and children called Nellie’s Place in Toronto: There was one woman who (I was later told) had been coming there for the past two years, and she had not ever said one word. It seemed that nothing was reaching her. She asked about my book, (Stop Being the String Along) and told one of the staff that she wanted a copy. I had given an autographed copy for Nellie’s resource library, so any woman could read it, and then return it for others to read. When I learned that I reached this one woman who hadn’t spoken for the past two years, my heart swelled up with joy and gratitude. I then sent over an autographed copy to her, personally. My prayer before going there, and to any speaking event, and with each and every private client, is that the words flow through me from God, my Higher Self, to TRULY uplift and transform their life in the most positive ways possible.

So when I learned that this woman FINALLY spoke after two years, and when the staff member let me know that my talk really reached her, I knew, yet again, that this is God’s work, and working for God is the most rewarding and blessed work I could ever do. The rewards, inner peace and bliss are truly heaven on Earth.

I always remember to keep my ego in check, to know that it is not “just me” on the ego level, but God, my Higher Self working through me – yet in me and as me. So too with you.

I will be booking speaking events mostly at Unity churches in the USA for 2006. If there is a Unity in your area, please let me know. I would love to meet you in person!

Remember that Higher Self Communication is not a gift. It is your essence, as much as your gut instincts are. The source is the same, and when you receive the words in writing, and re-read them, it truly brings profound transformation. I will be speaking about this for the rest of my life, so if I don’t meet you in 2006, we have a good number of years to meet in person : )

Because of my publication deadline, I won’t be able to be so active in the group, but I will pop in as much as I can. Hurricane Wilma was One Tough Bitch (And Other Info!)

Oh, for those of you that think because I’m spiritual it might shock you to know that I do have my own way of speaking my mind, especially in my own Blog, – I think it comes from being raised in New York City, or it just comes from uninhibited speech when I can just let loose.

Now, this hurricane, and the tornados was a real nightmare. However, I was stunned, fascinated and in awe of what I witnessed from inside my home, and how I was divinely protected.

Get this picture: The winds are sustained at 150 miles per hour. There is a tornado swirling along with the eye of Wilma. Inside my living room (I live in an apartment) there are sliding glass doors that lead to an outdoor, screened in patio. I forgot to bring in the plants, and especially one small but heavy terra cotta flower pot that sits on a wicker table.

I watched trees get uprooted and blown away, the huge chimney from the club house roof was blown onto the ground of the parking lot, and as I looked outside, I said to myself: “Oh my God, I forgot to bring in that heavy terra cotta flower pot! That can blow right through my sliding glass doors, and the force from the winds could blow my home into smithereens. But then I looked again – watching the fierce winds – and I looked at that flower pot where I have some artificial purple flowers in it. Four FEET away was 150 mile per hour sustained winds, and the flowers in that pot WERE NOT MOVING! They were perfectly still! Then, the other flower pots right up against the screen, right up against the wind, were perfectly STILL. The leaves on those real plants gently blew – as if there was a gentle breeze.

I could not believe my eyes, and I KNEW that THIS IS REAL DIVINE PROTECTION!

Now, I’ve never seen an Angel (I can’t even see an aura) but I did call out (fiercely) to both Archangel Michal and Metatron and asked them to PLEASE protect me and my family – as well as everyone else, and to keep all people safe.

It obviously worked, and I am deeply grateful for the Divine protection I received. If you had witnessed it yourself, you would have been blown away ( no pub intended.)

So then it was no electricity, no running water, phone or internet. No one could get gas, because there was no electricity to pump the gas, and the outside damage was so widespread, it looked like, well, a massive hurricane hit the area.

The nice thing was that during my absence from civilization and communication, the Yahoo Group – Higher Self Communication

was JUST formed two days before the hurricane, and 217 members have been so involved, so helpful, so wonderful, and this group is really making a difference for people – at least that’s what they are saying, and I feel their sincerity.

I’ll be giving a Keynote at the Universal Lightworkers Conference in Florida, and then next week going to Toronto to first give a double seminar to disadvantaged women at a shelter in Toronto – this is just from my heart, I’ve always wanted to do this – reach out and help those who are where I once was – at the bottom of life! Then, I am giving two Keynotes at Angel Wings Over Toronto Conference – so this should be wonderful, and I look forward to giving the attendees my best – I wouldn’t have it any other way.

So after having 960 new messages in my e-mail, and tons of catch up to attend to – I’d say I’m tired – but I just still keep going – Type A personality, driven by passion!

Bracing in the Path of Hurricane Wilma

Let me share with you that this is not fun at all. Being in the path of a major hurricane, with the tornado watches and watching the radar on The Weather Channel is quite tension producing. What keeps me calm is taking a LOT of deep breaths. I’ve also noticed a surge in my food intake – however keeping that intake to healthy foods is better – just another nervous outlet I imagine.

Hearing the wind gusts outside is really tension producing, more deep breaths help a LOT.

I really do pray for everyone that all are kept safe. So at 2:30 AM writing seems to be the outlet of choice that reduces the tension as the outer bands of this hurricane hit home.

So “Born to Inspire” is right now: “Born to See Wilma Over and Done with!”

I do fully believe in Divine Protection, however, this is not fun at all. Mother Nature is quite a force. In my deepest heart I believe that on some level, it keeps us all humble, and reminds us that we are really all connected to each other. I also believe that we CAN alter the destructive force of hurricanes, with a tremendous amount of Love – pouring into the hurricane, and affirming that it is diminished helps more than many people may realize.

Some people are experts at this, and I feel we can all benefit by learning from them.

I look forward to clear skies, sunshine, and will never again complain at how the sun always shines in Florida. After this, I feel it is a blessing.

I send my love and prayers of protection to everyone, pets included, in the path of hurricane Wilma. There is always something to learn – I feel it is keeping an inner peace despite outside appearances to the contrary – so this is my goal in the midst of this hurricane – maintaining inner peace – that, I feel is another step up and out of the storm – all puns intended.

Received IF GOD WAS LIKE MAN in Russian from Publisher – Popuri

Today has been a thrill. I received three hard cover books, IF GOD WAS LIKE MAN in Russian, from Popuri – the publisher who bought the Russian language Rights to this book.

I love the way the book turned out – I only wish I could read it in Russian!

It’s funny, because when I brought through (yes, brought through – not wrote on my own accord) this book, I really wanted the people who have experienced complete lack of personal freedom to be able to read this book. This was just a wish from my heart, and here it happened. So, I’m really excited about this.

I hope the people in the Russian Federation like this book, and that it helps them. This is what matters most to me.

My great grandparents were from Russia, so I thought about my Great Grandmother today – she immigrated to New York City in the early 1900’s, and my Grandmother was born in New York City in 1918. So this has more personal, sentimental meaning to me about this version of the book.

Aside from this, I traveled extensively through Russia, when it was RUSSIA – in 1981, when there was no freedom, bread lines, nothing at all to buy in Moscow – there were hardly and stores, and anything that could be bought, were in “Western” stores that were only allowed access to “Western” people – so my heart really went out to the people. It’s one thing to see something on TV, or read about it in a book, and quite another to experience it all in front of your eyes.

I’m so glad the people have freedom now, and I hope that this book contributes something of value to their lives.
