It was REALLY bothering me to exclude the many people from all over our planet that are making life so wonderful, and uplifting the lives of so many people, as well as Earth itself, that I HAD to create another book, double in size, with twice as many people who are truly "making Earth great."

This is really a labor of love for me, as well as my own historical contribution. As a little girl in elementary school, I used to LOVE to read biography's of women. I always loved people, and people who are an inspiration. So I felt that this new book would be great for kids of all ages to read, especially a book that can be read in schools all over the planet, to inspire our children, and their children, etc.

So this book will feature 100 males and 100 females of all ages, from every corner of the globe.
The only criteria is that the person is currently physically alive during the writing of this book, and of course they must be a positive influence, so their words and deeds can bring hope and inspiration for many years, and hopefully, decades.

Plus, the journalist in me gets to dig deep for the most inspiring people, and this is a lot of fun.

I want to create both books, the 100 book and the 200 book where a portion of the profits are donated to charities that help humanity. I can't just pick ONE charity, there are so many! So I felt that each calendar year, a different charity could benefit from the sales of both books. The charities would have to reflect the mission of Rose Humanitarian Alliance (named in loving and honorable memory of my dearest Grandma Rose) so they would have to feed the hungry, house the homeless, help the children, heal the sick, empower the poor and uplift the downtrodden.
This is where my passion lies. My dream would be to see all of the above conditions a distant memory for all of humanity.

If I could, I would make it illegal for any person to be denied food, medicine, a home, and help if their life fell apart. I would make it illegal for people to be evicted into the streets. This is barbaric, and inhumane. So this is why these areas are so important to me. With a different charity receiving money from both books each year, this will help the charities, and the people overcome their plight. Just making a difference is what means the most. I don't need, nor am I looking for credit, so all of the donations will be made in the loving memory of my Grandma Rose, because it is her values that she instilled in me by way of her example that is making this difference.

Oh, some people were nominating me to be in the 100 book, I haven't announced the 200 book yet to my subscribers, but it is on my website and on the homepage and I am grateful for their nomination, I just simply cannot put myself in the books. I really wouldn't dare, too much ego there - I would rather focus on others. I share a lot, so when I am helping people personally, then it is fine with me if they let me know. However, I learned a while back to never take a compliment too seriously, and to never take an insult too seriously. They are simply the perceptions of others.

Humility is required to do this work. It also feel MUCH better than ego gratification or seeking for some kind of celebrity status, which I really do NOT want in my life. I prefer a quiet life, but to make a big difference in my own quiet way.

So I know in my heart, or at least hope, that the 200 book will really inspire and help people. I hope it inspires our youth. I would love to see my grandchildren read it, that would thrill me.

There is one thing about the people that will be featured in BOTH books, and that is that they must be working purely from their heart. I am NOT interested in how much money they have, or what their outer stature is. This is ONE place where solely material gain CANNOT buy them into these books. It's perfectly okay if someone IS materially wealthy, however, they really have to be working from their heart, and making a difference purely, to set an example that our children can emulate. Simply having a huge bank balance and a lot of material things does NOT make one person "better" than another. In spiritual reality, really NO person is "better" than another, it is only a matter of personal awakening. So it is the people whose hearts are the most awakened that will be featured. THAT is the example and legacy I want to leave behind, because that is what really matters most.

This is NOT a "political" book, however, Bill Clinton WILL be featured - he is helping so many people in poverty, and this sets an example of "non-judgment" for a human being that has and is doing so much good, even if he made personal mistakes. Show me one person that never made a personal mistake over the age of 21.

Wayne Dyer is on the list, and so is Stephen Simon. I won't reveal everyone, but you can certainly post a peaceful comment to nominate someone that you feel is an example to emulate, someone that inspires humanity, and someone that our children can learn from.

Forward for Russian Version of If God Was Like Man

As the Russian language rights were bought by a wonderful Russian publisher, they asked me to write a special forward for the Russian people, which I am honored to do. So this is what I am doing tonight, and then reading another book, and taking more exams for my Ph.D.

Many people ask me: "Do you EVER stop?" Yes, I do, when I sleep and rest. You see, I LOVE what I do, every part of it. So it's a joy in the process, and never feels like "work" - it feels like BLISS! But I never "work" when I am with my children. They are my only focus when we are together - which is another MAJOR Bliss in my life. Teenagers are awesome! They are so wise, and filled with wonder. And when they think they know EVERYTHING - I have to say that they are wonderful teachers too! They DO know so much more than many parents give them credit for.

I joined "One Spirit" book club. I received a big box of books, and felt like I received a box of diamonds. I have over 2,000 books in my personal library, and I keep adding to it, because I love reading so much. After I'm gone, in my will I am donating all of the books to create a library so that anyone can read them at any time. (I don't plan on leaving this planet for at least another 40 years, so it will be my grandchildren, and great grandchildren that will have the rights to all of the books, to make them public for people to enjoy. ) I will probably request that it be named in loving and honorable memory of my dearest Grandma Rose, (that is who the Rose Humanitarian Alliance is named after, not me) because she was my dearest and best friend, and gave me so much love, until I learned how to love myself. So just about everything is dedicated to her memory - she was the epitome of the humanitarian, and one of the kindest hearts that ever walked the Earth.

So tonight, it's writing, reading and exams. And do you know what? I love it all! : )

100 People Who Are Making America Great by Barbara Rose

I have to say that when I read that Jimmy Carter was listed in the book "100 People Who Are Screwing Up America" I couldn't beleive my eyes. I logged on to Carter's website I was so happy to see the work this man is doing for so many people around the world.

Then in the "screwing up" book, there was also listed Simon LeBon from the 80's band Duran Duran, whom I personally interviewed after he performed at a children's cancer charity benefit concert in Los Angeles in 1994. He performed just to raise money to help children with cancer, and I was impressed with his heart, that went beyond his celebrity.

However, when I read that Captain and Tennile was ALSO in this "screwing America" book, that was the clincher. I remember watching them sing on TV as a kid, they were so innocent! Now, I am the LAST person to get involved in the political mud slinging that goes on, but I am very much for truth and justice for all. So what this "100 People Who Are Screwing Up America" book did for me, was inspire me to compile, write and publish "100 People Who Are Making America Great". I want this book to inspire people, and be a living example of people both known and "unknown" that are really making a difference in our world. So here, you can see how the seeming "negative" can be turned around as a "positive" that will ultimately help people, rather than be yet another example of a monument to critics. "Know Yourself" was actually written before "Stop Being the String Along"

I am currently completing my Ph.D. in metaphysics (I only began in 1998!) but wrote a bunch of books, so now I am so happy to be learning soooo much as I complete my studies and write my dissertation on Higher Self Communication (what else could I possibly write about, when all of my books are written "through" me from Divine Source, God, All That Is. ) So I am actually adding to Know Yourself as I want it to be the best book possible for women to come into wholeness. (Nothing against the guys, I love males! I just couldn't possibly write about being a man coming into wholeness, any more than a man can write about the emotions felt within a woman during her monthly "cycle" or giving birth to a child based on personal experience.)

And with all of the reading and learning I am doing while completing my Ph.D. I feel that this will make "Know Yourself" a better book. That will be the next line up of tele-seminars for 2006.

This is all so exciting for me. Just to be able to make any shred of a difference feels so wonderful. I'm not looking for credit, but for a rippling effect of good, so after I am gone, I will know that I left this world a better place than when I first arrived in 1961. (See, I'm not afraid to reveal my age - I feel 20, but I LOVE being 43!) Speaking of 43, I have to say that the 40's are the most empowering years. I wouldn't turn the clock back three minutes.

So that's the latest news and updates for me. I really live like a nun, seriously! Any monestary would take me in at this point. But I do love my life, and every moment of what I am doing, so I imagine that's what matters most.

When "Stop Being the String Along" Hit the Amazon Bestseller List

It was five weeks ago, and that day and night was filled with bliss. For an author on a mission to help people, what mattered to me most was that the messages in this book are reaching many more people.
I noticed the book went to # 18 on the overall Amazon bestseller list for all books sold, and went to # 1 in the category of relationships . Then, I found myself "caught up" in the "what number am I?" phase. This is disempowering to say the least. After a couple of days of "checking my number" and seeing how many little gold stars were next to my book reviews, I had to take a step back and realize something that I hope will be of benefit to you.

All of this is transient, and completely out of our control. It does not matter "what number" you (or I) am, nor does it matter or reflect our essence of BEING how many little gold stars are next to our book reviews. So why stress over it? Just let it BE, and continue to focus on your purpose, and how you are making a difference in this world, in the moment. THIS is what I have found to be so empowering. MUCH more than checking the outer status of it all.

When we fully let go of "seeking" any kind of "status" and move completely into BEING, then and only then are we living our authentic truth, from our heart center, and this is what really makes a difference in people's lives.
